Purifier problems
Purified water tastes or smells bad
The water has a flat, salty, metallic or musty taste, or smells off.
What it usually turns out to be.
In roughly the order we find them.
- The carbon filter is exhausted — carbon is what removes taste and smell, and it is usually the first to go.
- The RO membrane is past its life, so more dissolved salts are getting through.
- Water has been standing in the tank for days, which happens after a holiday.
- The post-carbon or mineral cartridge, if fitted, is finished.
What we
actually do.
We measure the TDS of your input water and the purified water. That number tells us whether it is the carbon or the membrane, so only the one that has failed gets replaced.
Parts, if any are needed, are charged at the prices on our spare-parts list — and the technician tells you the amount before fitting anything.
Our promise
Pay after the work is done
No advance. You pay once the purifier is working and you have seen it.
Free revisit within 10 days
If the purifier needs repair again within 10 days of our visit, we come back with no service charge.
Warranty written on the bill
Every bill says what is covered and for how long. Nothing is left to a verbal promise.
Our own technicians, no freelancers
Trained in-house staff. Their focus is how well your purifier cleans the water, not how many parts they can replace.
